🐕‍🦺 Canon Extender Ef 2X Iii 70 200 F2 8

I have two APS-C (70D and 600D) bodies with Canon EF and EF-s lenses, and Sigmas, among them the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 HSM OS. I am also considering getting the new Tamron 150-600 lens, pending reviews. I was just curious if a Canon extender, specifically the canon EF 2X III, will work on the Tamron and/or Sigma lenses. I've got one in the post and the first two lenses you mention will be amongst the first that I test out. I found the autofocus of the 135L using the regular Canon EF-EF-M adapter was only ok with my M50. If the focus was way off it would struggle to find focus. The 70-200 is not the ii version. Then I'd avoid TCs, the focusing isn't going to be great with a TC. The 100-400 is pretty good, but the 70-300L is all around better (~$1100 used) aside from not going to 400. It doesn't take a TC though. I have the 70-200 2.8 L Non IS and have used both the 2x and 1.4x extenders. When you use a 2x extender it cuts the light by 2 stops. When you stack extenders, you will lose the combined loss of light so if you stack a 1.4x and a 2x for example, you’ll lose 3 stops of light. If you stack 2 x 1.4x extenders, for a total magnification of 1.96x, you’ll lose 2 stops of light. In many cases this means that you’ll lose pc10.
